Product Description

This beautiful dark wood poker chip case is one of the finest cases available. Resembling a fine cigar humidor, it is a deep dark stained wood and is very solid with all-wood construction. The finish on this case is a brilliant, highly polished laquered finish. The tray inside is removable, revealing a bottom layer that holds chips, playing cards and a dealer button. The sides and bottom are lined with soft black felt. The hardware on this case is solid brass. This is a collector's item as well as a fully functional chip case for the person who appreciates the finer things in life. The top rack in this case comfortably holds 450 chips as the bottom rack holds 300 chips for a total chip capacity of 750 chips. Also on the bottom there is enough space for 2 decks of cards and a dealer button.

Definitely a nice upgrade over the cheap aluminum case my chips originally arrived in. This is a beautiful piece that I can openly display rather than hide under the couch until poker night... Received 4 stars only because mine arrived with a slight scratch on the top - something only I will probably ever notice. Otherwise I am very happy with the construction and look of this case. As stated, the case holds 750 chips easily - mine are 14g chips, and the case accomodates them with room and sturdiness to spare.

Also not mentioned in the description when I purchased the case is a brass key on a tassle (and a spare) that fits into the keyhole on the front of the case. There IS a lock - however, it's mostly a theoretical one, as I can get the top open with it 'locked' fairly easily... (I have a five year old - hence the 'test'). Still the key and tassle are a nice affectation that adds a touch of old-world class to the look of the box.

Other than the slight scratch,... Read more
