It is of comfortable material and very warm. Thick brim and hat provide a great protection for arctic winds and zero temperatures. It is very stylish and practical. The hidden ear flaps help keep the hat snug on my head when inside and they help keep my ears from freezing in the cold mornings when they are out. I take my hat every where I go and I am not disappointed in getting it. Thanks to the many warm features and design.
